An exciting opportunity has just opened up for a Charge Nurse Operating Room at a wonderful community hospital in Coastal Southwestern Oregon!

The Charge Nurse Operating Room will report to the Director of Surgical Services. This ambitious Charge Nurse Operating Room will be responsible for assisting with daily operations of inpatient and outpatient surgery, perioperative, operating rooms, post-anesthesia, GI, sterile processing, and other areas. This Charge Nurse Operating Room will oversee a great team of surgical nurses, surgical techs, and additional department staff.
The Charge Nurse Operating Room will provide hands-on care and will be responsible for nursing assignments, briefing, and leading huddle meetings, and participating in the hiring and onboarding of new staff while also providing continuing education and mentorship to current employees. The Charge Nurse Operating Room should have a strong operating room background and a commitment to improving care.
