looking for a Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team.
This role requires a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience.
We seek a passionate and collaborative professional with strong
technical skills who thrive in a fast-paced environment. As part of
our expanding IT team, you will work alongside our IT manager and
engineering teams to provide support, assistance, and
troubleshooting when needed. This role offers the opportunity to
contribute across all areas of the business including facilities,
operation, and people, making a direct impact on our innovative
hardware solutions.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage our IT Help Desk ensuring a welcoming environment is
established
- Arrange for repairs and consulting by IT Vendors while tracking
assets warranties and software licenses
- Understand and implement key trends in the IT industry
- Automate administrative tasks and configuration management
- Own and manage the backup system: rotate backup, monitor
progress, restore user files
- Document IT infrastructure, specify computing hardware and
software purchases, and troubleshoot any issues
- Act as trusted arbiter of access rights and maintain user
accounts
- Handle device installation, wiring, server infrastructure (e.g.
rooms, racks)
- Complete daily scans and other periodic reviews of system
logs
- Provide emergency, off-hours assistance to ensure continuity of
IT services
- Maintain the DevOps infrastructure and support workflow in
leveraging those systemsDESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,
or related field (with equivalent work experience)
- Experience managing an IT Help Desk and providing user-focused
support including troubleshooting, ability to document
infrastructure, and guide purchases
- Familiar with automating tasks and managing configurations
- Proficient in managing backup systems and restoring data
- Trusted in managing user accounts and access rights
- Hands-on experience with device setup, wiring, and server
infrastructure
- Willingness to provide after-hours support*This position
requires the ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 25
pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.*
