This position is fully remote.
What you'll do in this role:
Write efficient, reliable, maintainable, and defect-free code.
Design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable systems,
services, and API's.
Participate and contribute to software development practices such
as design spec and code review.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement
scalable and efficient cloud solutions.
Utilize automated CI/CD pipelines to deploy software packages in a
DevOps environment.
Working knowledge and ability to use tools to assist with user
analytics, logging, and monitoring.
Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance
tests.
Collaborate with various team members and stakeholders on
requirements definition and feature design and development.
Author clear technical documentation for the deliverables.
Be an active participant in triage meetings and discussions.
Support the architecture team that works on AWS IaaS platform for
service delivery
Take part in agile ceremonies for estimation and execution of
continuous product.
Working in a flexible environment, you will deal effectively with
ambiguity, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Mentor other developers as needed to expand the team's skills.
Your education, skills, and experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related field or
equivalent work experience.
5+ years of software development experience as an engineer in an
agile environment with excellent design, problem solving, debugging
skills and DevOps.
3+ years of hands-on coding experience in Angular, React or any
other equivalent library/framework.
3+ years of hands-on coding experience in Python, preferably in the
web development space.
Familiarity with Python web development frameworks (Flask, FastAPI,
Django).
Familiarity with Python linting tools (pylint, flake8, ruff) and
type checkers (mypy, pyright) is a bonus.
Strong familiarity with JavaScript/Typescript.
Some familiarity with Java.
Acquainted with testing tools and platforms, such as Cucumber,
Cypress, Selenium, and Postman
Understand OpenAPI specifications, Swagger, and SQL/No-SQL
databases.
Good comprehension of various API gateways, reverse proxy, MFA,
tokenization, SSL, OAuth, SAML protocols, and app
authentications.
Familiar with AuthN and AuthZ protocol, architecture, and
concepts.
Familiarity with Active Directory or other LDAP compatible
directory stores.
Experience with AWS Elastic Container Service, load balancing,
Route 53, ACM, and CloudFormation is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with containerization for application deployment
(Docker).
Strong Experience with OIDC and OAuth IDPs.
Track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high quality
results.
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical
peers with a customer focus.
Pay Range: $70.00 - $76.00 per hour, depending upon experience.
