Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Desk Supervisor
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
directing, planning, and coordinating activities of the front desk
staff to ensure prompt, courteous service to all guests and
guarantee their experiences are distinctively supreme.
Position Information: Full-time position, hourly rate of 19
dollars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of guest registration and check-out
processes
- Maintain high standards of customer service and enforce zero
tolerance for poor service
- Manage reservation processes for both social and group
guests
- Train and supervise front desk staff
- Assist in maintaining budget controls and increasing transient
sales
Essential Functions:
- Manage all aspects of guest registration and check-out
following prescribed procedures
- Assist in administering communication policies between front
desk staff, guests, and hotel
- Maintain and enforce high levels of customer service
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
- Implement reservation processes for social and group
guests
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, room
types, rates, and packages
- Assist with staff documentation, including hiring, performance
evaluations, and terminations
- Plan, direct, and coordinate monitoring of front desk
activities
- Train staff on selling techniques, customer service skills, and
hotel promotions
- Increase transient sales and maintain budget controls
- Drive company vans for guests when required
- Assist with monthly staff meetings
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Two years of hotel front desk experience preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Possession of required government licenses or certificates
- Strong knowledge of front office operations
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to read, write, problem-solve, and communicate
effectively
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Prior cash handling experience
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Capable of following verbal and written instructions
