The opportunity:WestRock\u2019s pulp and paper mill located in Longview, WA is actively seeking to fill an Intermediate level Millwright position. A successful candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and be willing and eager to invest time and energy in training to gain the necessary skills and knowledge required to be successful.How you will impact WestRock:Perform a variety of maintenance-related tasks in connection with the maintenance department.Repair and/or make improvements to equipment related to pulp and paper manufacturing processes.Be able to read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures to assemble, dismantle and overhaul machinery and equipment using hand and power toolsWork with a wide variety of precision tools such as veneer calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, levels, gauge blocks and optical and laser alignment toolingPerform a variety of maintenance related tasks in connection with the maintenance, repair and/or improvement to equipment related to pulp and paper manufacturing processes.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.Other duties as assigned.What you need to succeed:High School Diploma or GED required.2+ years\u2019 experience working in an industrial maintenance environment as an Intermediate level Millwright.
