Job Description:
A company is looking for a Supervising Psychiatrist to oversee
mid-level practitioners and ensure quality mental healthcare for
children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and provide consultation to Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and
Physician Assistants (PAs) to ensure quality care
Conduct chart reviews and co-sign documentation in the Electronic
Medical Records (EMR) system
Provide mentorship and support to staff, enhancing their
psychiatric care capabilities
Required Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. with Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Active, unrestricted medical licenses in New Jersey and
Pennsylvania, along with DEA certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health practice, with
supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of psychotropic medications and evidence-based treatment
modalities for children and adolescents
Ability to commit approximately 1-3 hours per week to this role
